Poor little Guy......

Here's a picture of Jaden in his pack and play. I don't blame him for covering up his face with the blanket. He has had a rough couple of days. He woke up screaming last night and the night before, and we just thought he was teething. Unfortunately we were wrong. He was diagnosed with an ear infection in both ears today. While he was at the doctor, one of his ears "ruptured" and started bleeding. The doctor said although it looked bad, it actually probably helped Jaden to feel better because of the reduction of pressure. We are going to the Ear, Nose, Throat specialist in the morning to see what can be done, since this is about the third or fourth ear infection he has had in his short six months of life. In the meantime, he has been put on some antibiotics, ear drops and alleve to help him with the pain. He is doing very well now, and even finished his last bottle, as he had not been doing that for a day or so, and is sleeping soundly right now. Everything is going to be fine with him, so please don't get upset about the "rupture" comment above. I hope everyone else's day is going better than poor Jaden's. We will keep everyone posted.
