I just wanted to take a moment to thank everyone that has come by to watch Jaden grow up "virtually" in the last year. I realize that there are a lot of family and friends that don't live in Indiana (thank goodness for you) that can't always be here in person for the moments, but we always have you in mind and feel very fortunate that we have a medium like this to keep you all updated and involved. It is truly overwhelming to believe that there have been 6300 visits to this site since I actually put a counter on it last year. Granted, 6000 are probably from me, but those other 300 visits mean a lot to us. I guess my point is that when Jaden is educated enough to read and browse the internet, I think this little blog might show him how much he is and always will be loved. It's been an unbelievable year and we can't wait for the next twelve months. Thank you all for everything and GO COLTS!

Today was the day....
Just thought I would let you all know that the little Guy walked around today like he has been doing it for years....Ok, months.....Or days. He was taking 10-12 steps at a time and is starting to get a solid grasp on the whole concept. The entire time, he just smiles and laughs and knows that somehow he is doing something "special". It's much like when he sees a camera. He just looks up, whether smiling, laughing or crying, and always seems to be looking at the lens. Anyway, Jaden is doing very, very well and we feel blessed to be a part of the whole experience. Looking forward to tomorrow.

Colts Fans at School
Jaden's teachers at school were kind enough to send us some pictures of he and the boys in all of their Colts gear. I thought you might enjoy!
Colts fans or Crips? That's a LOT of blue there. This could be the beginning of Jaden's gang affiliation. Better look into that further when I pick him up from school today!Rough job mommy has......
Here's a picture of Mommy at work (in pink) pulling for the Colts. Her company has a big tent set up outside and are giving away Colts stuff all day long. Rough job she has. Maybe I'll go put up a tent in the back yard and have my own Colts rally by myself! Go Colts!P.S. She "claims" she is a Tampa Bay fan, but ask if daddy has a Colts jersey. He does NOT! Only Raiders jerseys, my friends, only Raiders jerseys. But that's only because you can buy them for pennies on the dollar on Ebay now. :-(
Growing up FAST!
Well folks, the time is nearing. Jaden will be one year old on 2/9/07. It's hard to freaking believe. It seems like only yesterday we were in the delivery room and staying up all night with the little Guy, b/c I had no idea what to do with him. Since then we (mostly I) have been urinated on, thrown up on (and in my mouth...See 8/15/06 post, if you have the stomach), pooped on, but mostly LOVED on, and it has been the greatest year ever! There are no words I can think of to describe the ride this has been. I take that back, there are words, just not enough of them to do it justice. I won't go on and on today, as I'm sure as his birthday gets even closer, I will do a lot more reflecting. I guess my point is, how can you NOT love something this wonderful and cute.....Oh, and messy!!! Have a great weekend!

And....GO COLTS!!!!!

Jaden's in the Kitchen THE VIDEO!
Here's a video of Jaden playing in the kitchen with mommy and daddy playing with the "Tower of TP!" Boy, it is going to be scary when he starts walking! Enjoy!

Someone's in the kitchen with mommy.
Yeah, nice babyproofing on our part. Just go ahead and open the cabinets up! The cabinets with all of the cleaning supplies are just to your left. Daddy may want to secure those at some point.
Ahhhh, yes. Why not let him play with the detergent area of the dishwasher as well. I wonder what time Child Services will be arriving to take Jaden away from we unfit parents?Sorry, Sorry, Sorry....
I wanted to apologize to those of you that have sent me nasty emails and posts asking why nothing was posted last week. Work has been very busy and I have started traveling so it is becoming more challenging to keep this updated on a daily basis. I will try to stay on top of it in the future. Anyway, Jaden is doing well, as is the rest of the family, and we are all looking forward to the Superbowl this weekend! Have a great week!
