Toy Story 3 Violence
Perhaps the parents "AREN'T" the reason our kids have a violent streak in them after all. I was at Target today and this was the "substitute" for the Toy Story 3 game they had depleted. I asked the person in charge of the area about it and he laughed. He said he shouldn't have laughed, but he was going to put this on YouTube. Oh, did I mention he was 20 years my senior. Harlem Globetrotters
Mommy, Jaden and Daddy went to the Harlem Globetrotter game.
I have a feeling we will be spending a lot of time here as the boys get older.
Playing the Washington Generals.
It was a very entertaining show. All three of us enjoyed it and stayed through the end.
Jaden with his wristbands and basketball.
Fred "Curly" Neal was there signing balls after the game. Jaden got his signature and another, but immediately started dribbling the ball once we got outside, so those signatures won't last long. :-) I actually saw Curly play when I was a kid.Saturday, November 27, 2010

Thanks-For-Giving
What am I thankful for?
That Shannon saw through my "ignorance" when we were dating and stuck it out with me.
That I have the most two beautiful blessings a person could ever conceive.
That although I didn't realize it at the time, I was always learning from my parents.
That at whatever time of day, I can name 10 people that would take my call and be there for me.
That I can still call mom OR dad at the same phone number and they will both be there.
That I am 40 years old, and still here.
That I have the opportunity to "educate" my boys so they don't make the same mistakes I made.
That I am who I am because of everyone around me.

Daddy and Jaden's LONG walk.....
Jaden wanted to walk to the pier on Friday, so I obliged. HOWEVER, it was much further away than I realized. I'm guessing it was a mile or two each way and the pier itself is 1/3 of a mile long. I'm happy to report that we made it back.....It was an AWESOME day with my eldest!!!

We almost made it back and Jaden said his legs were tired. Good thing we were near a restaurant. Jaden ate a whole basket of "Shark Bites" and fries. As a side note, they have $1.50 Bud Light Drafts from 11 - 6. :-)
Oh, and he had room from cheesecake. A long walk can really drum up an appetite....
