Saturday Morning Football

Are you ready for some football????
(No, daddy isn't a big Steelers fan, but grandma Laurie Jo bought this for him and I thought she, as well as Uncle Brandon, might like seeing the little Guy wearing it ONCE this season.)

There's cousin Nick "No Socks" on the left!

Come on guys! Nice tackle! Ok, so maybe Jaden is actually watching the cheerleaders, but daddy's ok with that. ;-)

Grandpa Tom walking the superstar off of the field.

Jaden checking out cousin Nick's helmet.

Hey, Why is everyone leaving?

Great game cousin Nick!

I LOVE being outside!

Why, why, WHY did they take cousin Nick out for that series? That's the ONLY reason the other team won. A tough loss for St. Roch 7-0, but still a good game and cousin Nick played GREAT!!!!

Happy Football Saturday!

Pictures from resort in Puerto Vallarta

Just thought I would put some pictures up from the resort we stayed at the second part of the week in Puerto Vallarta. This one was called Velas Vallarta.

View of the pool from our room.

These were private tents for massages. We didn't get one here, but we did get one at the first resort. I had never done that before, but I have to admit it was pretty nice.

He is the restaurant that is on the beach. Very casual, good food, good times.

Early evening on the balcony. Probably waiting on room service.

The pool bar.

Fun at School

Here is a picture of the little Guy that was taken at school and posted in the weekly email newsletter. This is like the third or fourth time he has made the newsletter. What a star! Anyway, as you can see, daddy really needs to take him in for a haircut. Maybe I'll do that this weekend, or perhaps I'll just braid him some cornrows for school on Monday. I'll decide later.

Home, Home, Again...

Well, Shannon and I have safely returned from our vacation to Puerto Vallarta and Nuevo Vallarta, Mexico intact. We want to thank everyone that helped out by watching Jaden for us while we were gone. We had a wonderful time, but missed him something terribly. It's good to be home and maybe next time we will take him with us. Here are some pictures from the first resort we stayed at in Nuevo Vallarta. It was called the Grand Velas. Enjoy....we did! ;-)

Here is a picture of the infinity pool from our balcony. It's actually three pools that waterfall into the next one. Although you can't see them from here, there are about 10 waiters that cater to your every need while visiting the pool as well. We utilized their services frequently.

Here is a view of the left side of the pool. There is a restaurant on the right side that sits on the beach where we usually ate breakfast and lunch.

Here is a view of the right side of the pool.

There are three hot tubs that sit on the beach as well, that also waterfall over the side.

The swim up pool bar and beach volleyball.

The resort had three restaurants that you had to make reservations for each evening. This was the Italian restaurant. "Muy Bueno!"

This was the French restaurant. Also a very good meal.

Here is a special drink that you have to request 24 hours in advance for them to make for you. A couple we were hanging out with had ordered one the day before, but they made two and so Shannon was the lucky recipient of the oversight.
