Three month update on the "little" guy

Hola Amigos and Amigas! I just wanted to give you all an update after Jaden's three month doctor's visit yesterday. He is doing very well, but still not a very big one yet. His weight is up to 11lbs and 6oz and his length is 23.5 inches. To give you some perspective on this, he is in the 12th percentile in weight and the 34th percentile in length. The good news is that the weight should keep increasing as we were advised to move him up to 5-6oz of formula from the 4oz we have been giving him. As for the length, not sure what to do about that one. I have been looking on Ebay for a medieval "stretching" rack, but haven't had any luck. I think it is because they were previously used for torture. Man, once something gets labeled "used for torture", it really makes it challenging to get your hands on one. In any event, the doctor's visit went well and today Shannon takes him in for another 4 hour stint at the daycare. The BIG day is Monday. That is when Shannon returns to work and Jaden goes to daycare full time. It will be an tough day for the family, but we will get through it. Well, that's about it for today. Jaden's Room

I created a link to a video to give those that have not been to the house yet a "virtual tour" of Jaden's room. It's about two minutes in length and I kinda rush through it to keep it as short as possible, but it is there for your viewing pleasure nonetheless. Picture of happiness......for now.....

Here is a picture of my favorite two people. Unfortunately, this picture will change about 11am today. Shannon goes back to work next Monday, and Jaden will be going to daycare then as well. Today however, Shannon is taking the little guy in for a trial run of 4 hours at the daycare. I have a feeling this is going to be a very, very rough day for both of them. On top of everything else, Jaden has been very fussy for the last 24 hours and we think he might be teething a bit. We will keep you posted on that one, as we go for his 3 month doctor's visit on Thursday. Wish them the best today!

Cousin Nick's First Communion

This is a picture of Jaden's cousin Nick's first communion. Unfortunately Jaden was a little fussy yesterday, so we had to observe the event from the "crying room", but Nick did a great job. He even did one of the readings and did a wonderful job with that as well. Nick is in the front row of this picture surrounded by all of the girls. We had a great time yesterday and just wanted to congratulate Nick once again!
