Here comes trouble!

Jaden's ready for his trip!

Meet me in St. Louis.

Well, we are off to see Grandpa Shaun, Grandma Laurie Jo, Mammaw, Aunt Peg and Uncle Paul in St. Louis today. I am pretty excited about it, as I never been to St. Louis myself. Between this, Florida and Gatlinburg, Jaden has been to more places in his first seven months of life than I think I did in my first seven years of life. Spoiled little kid! Anyway, have a great weekend and we will be back on Sunday. Oh, and Jaden said his first words; "Go Raiders!" ;-)

Picture Perfect!

Hey everyone. I just thought I would take a moment to share one of my recent purchases. While watching HGTV's "I Want That", I actually found something that I wanted AND could afford. What you are looking at is a metal strip that has magnets to hold pictures, etc., up on your wall. Shannon and I had been debating on what to hang up there and I thought, what better than 10 pictures of Jaden that we can swap out on occasion with the other 950 she has of him. As you can see in the first picture, our refrigerator is becoming pretty cluttered and full of Jaden's pictures, so this actually made some sense. Now you may be asking yourself, why was Guy watching HGTV? Well, if you must know, ever since we purchased this house, I find myself addicted to HGTV and the DIY network. Please don't get me wrong, I still squeeze in some ESPN and NFL Network, but I do admit to watching the other channels as well. Well, that's about it for now, I just need to figure out what to do with the other 940 pictures. Have a great day!

Can you hear me now?

Well, Jaden's ear infection never completely went away. He went to the doctor yesterday and one ear is still infected. He got a couple of shots yesterday and again today. Looks like he will have to get tubes put in next week before we head to Orlando. It's a very common procedure and he will be in and out within an hour. Plus he will be able to fly on Friday, even if he gets them put in on Thursday. I know back in the day when my brother had them put in, they were about two inches long and took a little more to put them in. Now they are about the size of an aspirin, if not smaller, and should be painless. I just can't wait for the little fella to start feeling better, as he has been having these ear problems since he arrived. Now you might be looking for me to explain the problem with his ear via the diagram, but alas, I only have a general studies degree from college and a public school education prior to that. However, if you have any questions about Hapkido, gender studies, South African History, bowling, pool, religion or other various classes I took to "slap together" my college degree, I am your man! Unfortunately, I was not involved with any anatomy classes that actually provided me any college credits. Enjoy your Wednesday and I will keep the updates coming about the ear situation.

Hoosiers Win! Hoosiers Win!

As you can see by the surprised look on Jaden's face, his Indiana Hoosiers are undefeated in football this season! Granted it was against Western Michigan, but we are UNDEFEATED! Neither Cal nor Miami can say that right now! Hoo, Hoo, Hoo....Hoosiers!!!! Well, off to visit the powerhouse, which is uncle Brandon's Ball State Cardinals this week!

DEFEND THE ROCK!
