Squirmy, Squirmy, Squirmy
Here is a video, albeit a bit dark, of Jaden squirming around in his crib. Looks like he isn't too far away from attempting to crawl. Enjoy!

Well, it's official! The little Guy has a couple of teeth coming in. You might have to maximize the picture to see them, but his two lower front teeth are starting to show through the gums. He is teething like crazy and trying to bite EVERYTHING he sees, while at the same time drooling all over everyting as well. We went to the doctor today to get more shots and he got upset after the first one, but then was fine after the next two and stopped crying and all was well. Perhaps the shots didn't hurt as much as the teething. In any event, we will keep you posted on his progress. He should be eating steak very shortly!Monday, September 25, 2006
What Jaden Wants, Jaden Gets.
So, I have NO plans on Sunday for the first time in a long, long time. No cleaning the house, no cutting the grass, no visiting relatives, no going out of town.....Nothing! I have myself comfortably set up on the couch to watch football all day. I can't wait! Shannon has to leave to run some errands and asks me if I can watch Jaden while she is gone. Of course it's not a problem for me, as we will watch football together. Now as many of you know, I get the NFL Ticket on DirecTV, so I get to watch all of the games. A lot of you may think there is no reason for that, but if you are in four different fantasy football leagues, you would understand. So I have Jaden on the couch with me and all of his toys. Somehow he gets bored with his toys and wants the remote. Well, daddy can't have ANY of that, so I tell him no. Now, I don't think he understands the word no, because he starts crying and screaming his head off. A lot of it is teething, but most of it is him trying to show me who the boss really is in this house. I break down and give him the remote. All is well for a moment, until the channels start changing and the volume goes up and down. I had to stop that immediately, as I did not sign up to watch ice skating on a football Sunday. Therefore I took the remote again, and gave him some toys. The little Guy starts screaming, crying and throwing punches at me (see below for how dangerous that can be). So WTF I am I to do? Yep, you guessed it. I looked all over the for another remote, just like the one I use, and took the batteries out and gave it to him. Now I can't be sure, but it seems to be his favorite toy......as it too is daddy's favorite toy as well....huh, I guess the acorn doesn't fall far from the tree. Enjoy your Monday!
