GDab's Voices....Mostly In His Head.....

So I'm always posting status updates on Facebook. I quoted a Pink Floyd song today and had a couple of people ask if that was an "original" thought by me or not. Obviously it was not. I believe that music and comedy are art forms that are plagiarized the most on a daily basis. However, is that not the most sincere form of flattery? In any event, I joked about writing poetry with Shannon tonight and then posted the following on Facebook:

How do you know? How can you tell? Why do you ask? Where does it go? How do you get there? When will it show? These are things, that I don't know. I want to answer. I want to lead. I yearn to teach. I welcome the bleed. All you have is time and love to teach the young and let them run.....

I think it is an original thought, but then as I read it I think I also sound like Dr. Seuss. :-) Hey, he did pretty well for himself, from what I hear. Perhaps I do have 'some' sort of propensity towards slapping some stuff down on paper. If only I could monetize it somehow.......

Life Comes at You FAST!!!

I wanted to apologize for the neglect of the blog lately. I have every intention to get back to it more religiously shortly. Shannon started back to work yesterday and we feel like characters in the Nationwide commercials where it says; "Life comes at you fast!" It's been quite hectic in our lives right now and for those of you that said having two kids is a piece of cake will surely rot in.....Errrr, I mean, you must be a better person than I. We have had SO much on our plate and I'm not sure where the time is going to come from to complete everything. However, this glass is still half full and we are enjoying every minute of it. I hope all is well with everyone and I will post soon!
