Well, some of you may have been aware, and some of you not, but daddy has been without employment since January. Well, that all has changed as of today. I accepted a position with a company that really seems to have a great group of people running it and I start on Monday. I am very excited about the company and the opportunity. It will be a little odd getting up in the morning, showering, getting dressed and leaving the house in the morning, since I haven't had to do that for the last two years or so, but I am truly looking forward to doing so again. These walls were starting to close in on me a little as of late and the timing of this couldn't be better. The other nice thing is that they were totally understanding about the fact we already had our vacation scheduled for the first week of June, so we will still be able to make that trip. I'll keep you all posted on things, but I have a great feeling about the company and I anticipate great things. Enjoy your week!

Weekend Update
Well, we finally had some decent weather this weekend and the family was feeling much better. I think we might all finally be over the flu. :-) Saturday we didn't do a whole lot because Shannon still wasn't 100%, but Sunday we got out. We went to lunch at the Cheesecake Factory and then did a little shopping at Keystone at the Crossing. Man, that place is expensive. Anyway, from there we went to our friends Seth and Hilary's and hung out on their newly built deck. It was great to sit outside and enjoy the sun. Have I ever mentioned how much I miss living in Florida??? ;-) Finally we came back home and Grandma Libby stopped by and we had a little cookout. Vegetable medley and hot Italian sausages. Oh, and Jaden got gifts from Grandma. A Bob the Builder backhoe and lots and lots of bubbles. Jaden was a very happy little Guy. Hopefully the weather is starting to make this change and we can start doing this every weekend. Oh, and thanks a lot Seth and Hilary, now Shannon is all over me about getting a deck. Enjoy your week!
