The Man Outside of the House

Yeah, so I'm kinda new to the "Stay at home daddy" thing. The good news is that I don't have my boys staying with me until Monday. The reason I say that is because today I walked out after cutting the grass and cleaning the downstairs, without my keys. Not my car keys, but ALL of my keys. Shannon had to be at the doctor in 30 minutes, so I wasn't sure how I was going to get back in the house. In my defense, I keep this place locked up like Fort Knox. :-) Anyway, I wanted to thank my "fellow stay-at-home parent" Michelle, as she not only came and picked me up, but allowed me to use her car to go get the house key from Shannon. I'm a little scared for my boys since they will be with me starting on Monday. On a positive note, we could get really good tans shoulde be locked out on a daily basis. ;-) Enjoy your evening!

4 Month Doctor's VIsit

I just got back from Austin's four month doctor's visit. The doctor said he looks great! He is up to 15lbs and 12oz's and that puts him in the 70th percentile. He is 25.5 inches long and that puts him in the 75th percentile for his age. He's getting big quickly. Unfortunately he had to get two shots at this visit, but he handled it like a little man. Also, we get to start introducing cereal to him and that is pretty darn exciting. I'll keep you posted on how that goes! Have a great week!
