Does "Mound O Pillows" work? ALCOLA Presents: "You make the call!"

So here lies Jaden on mommy and daddy's king sized bed on pillows that mommy spent WAY too much money on, while listening to XM Radio through DirecTV for his enjoyment. Additionally, daddy is in his office watching the little Guy on the wireless color camera you see propped up on the blanket next to him. You know the crazy thing is that when I was growing up, I thought I was spoiled with my AM transistor radio and 13 inch B&W TV that I had in my room....sorry "our" room (had to share a bedroom b/c there were 3 kids and 2 rooms), but I guess SOMEONE always has to have it better. Well, if it HAS to be someone, at least it's Jaden!!! Spoiled little SH.........Errrrr, I mean "lucky little Guy". ;-)

Well, mommy's probably not going to like this picture too much, but this is just how "we do it" when mommy isn't around. ;-) Who needs a crib when you have a king sized bed with pillows for days! Anyway, we had our 4 month doctor's visit yesterday and found out Jaden has an ear infection in both ears. The only good news about that (for Jaden) is that the infection prohibited him from being able to get his shots. He is gaining good weight and is up to 14.4lbs and has grown in length to a whopping 25 inches. Looks like he is big enough to keep now. :-)

Daddy's Work Trip - Baltimore

Hey folks, sorry about not posting for so long. I had to attend a trade show in Baltimore from Friday to Wednesday, so I have been without my family, and computer ;-) for quite some time. Actually, this was the first trip away from the family since the little Guy's arrival. The trip itself was fine, and the tradeshow went well, but I can not explain how much I missed being home with my family. It was kinda like being told by your parents that you couldn't go out and play with your friends when you were younger. You knew you probably weren't missing anything too major, but there was always the chance that you were and you could never get that back, and it just made you mad that you weren't there. In any event, I am home.....happy to be home.....and look forward to being home for quite some time. Or at least until our trip to Florida in a week. LOL!
