Sick and Tired

It's a really weird dynamic tonight. Jaden and Austin both have the flu. You can only give so much medicine to a child under two and they are both just worn down. Shannon is in Austin's room sleeping and caring for him. I'm in my bed with Jaden. He's out. The worst feeling in the world you can have as a parent is not being able to "fix" something for your child. God I hope they heal quickly. I don't think I every really knew what my parents went through and the feelings they had for us when we were ill. I thought I had to stay in and not go out and play because I didn't go to school, NOT because they wanted me better so they could get the heck out of the house. ;-) Now I know! Heal quickly my little buddies; heal quickly!
