Flashbacks

It's kinda interesting being a parent for more than the obvious reasons. Having the little Guy around really causes me to reflect on my youth through things he says and does on a daily basis. It could be something as simple as trying to pronounce the word yellow, yet comes out "Lellow". It makes me think of my brother Brandon b/c he used to say it the same way. In fact, on some nights when I have been out to a bar with him, he reverts to that same pronunciation. ;-) Other times, it could be something he likes to watch. He is on this Spiderman kick right now, and there is a channel that plays old Spiderman cartoons that I used to watch. In fact, the other day he was calling me "Guy-Guy", which is what Brandon used to call me when we were growing up. Now he hardly calls at all. Just kidding, he calls, I just never answer my phone. I'm starting to think that having a little brother and sister prepared me for fatherhood more than I ever realized. Huh, who would have thought it, ME, a parent.

Good afternoon all! I hope your holiday weekend is going well. Shannon and Jaden are with Grandma Libby at the pool. Daddy stayed home to do some chores around the house. I am taking a quick break and then right back to it. Hopefully there will be some pictures from the pool that we can post later today or tomorrow. Enjoy your day!
