Ears to Jaden!!!

"Ears to Jaden"...hahaha. I am SO freaking funny. ANYWAY....We just got back from the ear doctor and he said the tubes look great and the ears are wonderful. We will have a follow up appointment in six months to make sure all is still well. The appointment was at 9:15, but we didn't get in until 9:30ish and that really cut into the little Guy's nap time. He was sitting on my lap starting to snooze when the doctor came into the room. I sat him up and his head just fell straight forward. He was OUT. I had to carry him back to the car by cradling him so that he could enjoy some more zzzzz's without waking up. I put him into the new three-hundred-freaking-dollar car seat that Shannon HAD to have for him and he slept all the way back to school. Speaking of the new car seat, I did have the final say on which pattern he got. The one Shannon wanted was with the dots. The one we got was the one with the footballs. See, I "kinda" wear the pants in the family. Yeah, I can't even type that without laughing. Have a great weekend!

Sick and Tired

Good morning. Shannon took Jaden to the doctor yesterday and he does have a cold on top of the teething. We are giving him Dimetapp to help out. He seemed to sleep better last night and his nose wasn't "as" runny today, so that is good news. However, in the midst of all of this, Shannon has come down with a bad cold as well. Looks like she is going to take a 1/2 day today and come home to get some rest. Probably just a matter of time before I catch it too. I guess I better head downstairs and get some orange juice in me. Monday morning teething report

Well, it was a tough weekend for the little Guy. He is teething badly. His eyes are watery, nose runny, and drooling like an English Bulldog. He is just SO tired, but can't seem to sleep very long, if at all. Shannon is going to take him to the doctor this afternoon, just to make sure he isn't sick as well as teething. If nothing else, hopefully they can prescribe something for the pain or to help him sleep at night. Anyway, I will keep you all posted. Have a great week!
