The Future???

This is actually a picture of Jaden in a locker at Lucas Oil Stadium in the visiting team's locker room. However, in my twisted mind, I see a future Cub checking out his locker prior to the season. Yeah, of course I would love it to be a Raider's jersey in a silver and black locker, but I am a realist and I know the genetics that are involved in his creation. Probably not a good chance of a football career in his future. Maybe not even baseball. CERTAINLY not basketball. However, the last time I checked those pro poker players seem to be making some money.......It's a sport if it's shown on ESPN, right??? I was truly worried that I could never be one of Jaden's coaches, but I think I just found a loophole. When does poker season start in Fisher's for toddlers???? I am undoubtedly qualified to be a head coach in that "sport".

Once again, J "Mr. Lucky" Dab, stepped into another wonderful gift, as so often happens to him. I wish I had his looks and charm growing up, and maybe my life would have been a cakewalk as well. Errrrrr, now that I think about it.......In any event, a good friend of mine from my high school days really came through for him today. She gave him his own CAR! It doesn't get much better than that. Looks like daddy has a new designated driver! We would truly like to thank Kirsten and her kind family (especially her triplets) that allowed Jaden to walk / drive away with the new ride. We are very lucky to have such a great group of friends and family surrounding us! Here are some pictures of the new ride:

It's a "green" car as well...battery powered. The battery is charging now.

It has seat belts so he and his passenger (which I'm certain will be a hot chick) will be safe!

Another Blessing

We stopped by to visit our friends Hilary, Seth and the newest addition, Leah, to say hello today. Leah blessed the world with her presence on Sunday. She is healthy and mom and dad seem to be doing great. However, they are still at the hospital until tomorrow and won't have the real "test" until they arrive home without the assistance of nurses and visitors. ;-) In any event, we are extremely happy for them and wish them all the best. Congrats!!!!

Now they can feel our pain......hehehehehehe!
