We just got this email from school today and we were so excited that I thought I would post it for all to read. How sad is my life now that THIS is the kind of stuff I get excited over? In any event, enjoy!!!
"Jaden has been doing well the past few days with staying dry in his diaper. If this continues through the week I would suggest trying underwear this weekend at home and if it goes smoothly we can start next week in underwear. Somethings to keep in mind as he makes this transition:-you will need to bring in around 4 complete outfits (including socks and a spare pair of shoes or dress him in crocs that can be sanitized easily). This will be for accidents and can be stored in a backpack for easy transportation as it will need refilled often until he gets into the new routine.-try to avoid tight clothes or multiple buttons or straps that prevent self dressing (overalls, onesies) in the beginning. We want him to be able to get undressed, potty and dressed again on his own.We can continue to have him sleep in a diaper but he had been staying dry through nap the past few days so that will be up to you.Please let us know if you have any questions.The Maples"
