I always joke with Shannon that she is not MY mother, so I really have no involvement in this day, other than making sure Jaden gets her a card. Although I say it in jest, sometimes I wonder if she really thinks I believe that statement. Well, the truth is, I DON'T! In all reality she has a harder job than my mother did, because she actually KNOWS all of the "questionable" things I have done and on limited occasions, do now. With my mom, I tried to shelter her from those things, hoping it was one less thing for her to be concerned about, since she had Brandon, Tammy and dad to worry about as well. ;-) In any event, I just want to say that although today is Mother's Day, and is certainly a special day, I truly hope that I show her throughout the year how much I appreciate and love her for everything she does for this family. Jaden and I are truly blessed beyond belief to have a mother / wife / friend like we do. Thank you Shannon! You ARE appreciated....Oh, and LOVED......BUNCHES!
